While the restaurant is currently closed, its grocery store is open and offers a variety of chilled and frozen dishes. My friends were fortunate enough to enjoy fresh, hot, and delicious food on the last day of the RenFest. Wow, this entire experience was absolutely delightful! My friend and I visited on a Sunday after church, and everything was fantastic. The service was excellent, the food was incredible, and the Polish store next door was also overflowing with wonderful items.
Parking was a breeze, the place was clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly, treating us like family despite all our questions! We came as a group for our monthly food club outing, and for several of us, it was our first time trying Polish cuisine. We ordered a combination plate, as well as the well-known blood sausage and carpaccio. Every bite was absolutely exquisite. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Houston area!
Very welcoming atmosphere and first class Polish cuisine. The beet soup with mushroom dumplings is great as the potato pancakes with goulash. We were too full for dessert, but will be back!
We loved the food here! It definitely isn 't a 'light ' menu so come hungry and try as many different things as you can. They give you a lot of good and the service is very friendly. The cabbage rolls, meatloaf and cheese pierogi were at the top of our list, but everything was very good. We 'll definitely be back to try more. My friends were fortunate enough to enjoy fresh, hot, and delicious food on the last day of the RenFest. The lamb legs were impressively large, beautifully presented, and incredibly tender, packed with meat. The Kielbasa sausage, along with the herbs and mustard, was also top-notch, although I would have preferred a grainy mustard over the standard yellow one. Nevertheless, everything was truly tasty. I’m eager to visit the store again and try the bigos and pierogis. The owner, Desi, and the staff were all wonderful. I fondly remember my trip to Tychy a long time ago and hope to return with my Polish friend soon. Thank you so much! Roma
