Pho Binh - Houston

This is some of the best pho I've ever tasted. You know it's a good place when most of the diners are Vietnamese! The broth was rich and packed with flavor. I ordered the pho ga kho, which is dry chicken pho served with soup on the side. While it was delicious, I found the noodles clumped together a bit, making them a bit tricky to eat without the broth. The dry pho is definitely worth a try, but I can’t wait to come back for one of their traditional beef pho options! The green Thai tea was also delightful—not too sweet, with some tasty jelly mixed in. Just a heads up, this restaurant only accepts cash and doesn't take credit cards.

This restaurant is well-deserving of its critical acclaim. The ingredients are top-notch, the additions are fresh, and the portion sizes are generous; I found the small size to be just right for me. It's a laid-back, hidden gem worth discovering.

The best pho place I have ever been to. I am a Houston native and when it comes to quantity of locales for pho and Vietnamese food, the list is nigh endless. The broth was delicious and the meat was wonderfully tender. If I could give above 5 stars, I would.
