On Sunday, September 5th, we dined at a restaurant offering both lunch and dinner menus. While the food was delicious, the service was disappointing, with a long wait and dirty surroundings. The appetizers stood out, but main dishes were lacking. However, Peli Peli pleased with unique South African cuisine, great flavors, and reasonable prices during Houston Restaurant Week. The surf and lawn plate and chicken curry received high praise. Lunch is recommended, with tasty options like half chicken peri peri and cupcakes. Overall, despite some issues, the food quality and flavors were exceptional, making it a worthwhile dining experience.
