Renee is always brilliant! Your service is always great! My husband and I come here (and come here for years, although we live in Sugar Land) and since Renee came into our lives, it's AMAZING! She always has a big smile on her face, even if she is slammed bus, we (or no other customers) waited for everything!! We also noticed that since we are here, after we met them, this place is CLEAN, and the food is great, but t... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mo's Irish Pub:
It 's hard to rate an Irish pub thats not very Irish. The food is mediocre but the bar is set up nice with lots of seating and plenty of TVs to watch sports. It has a franchise vibe and is good for a quick hang with your friends but it is not a my hang out bar View all feedback.
Went St. Patrick's day to get $10/person. They were told to wait 2 hours on a table, so went up and of course there are 4 tables open. Nice process. We took a table as our own. Several servers did not pass any eye contact for about 10 minutes before we addressed one of them, who said our server would soon be with us. We have our first server that sold us two green pints. Another server came up and asked us if you got that from the bar? that we answered no, then never heard of Server #2 again. Then we have our last server, Myah, who was absolutely brilliant. When she remembered how crazy it was, she delivered quite fast food/drink. She said she had tables upstairs, down and out. As an ex-server, this made no sense of efficiency. They group tables together so that the server goes into the same range. Nice process. Food and drink were pretty good. I think they had a special meal where they accused you more and gave you less than normal. Shepherd's Pie was $15 and was worth about two cups. 16$ fish and chips was a little better from a price/a lot of food point of view. Both tasted good, but this is not the place you should come to lose weight. I was still hungry and a pulpit went to buy, so we ordered one. Great! We wanted to go and end with another one on the veranda and listened to the band. Was good experience on the back porch, will come back again.
Tried the $5 January Burger Special on Thursday and had to go to dinner again on Saturday! I have to say it's the best burger in Katy! Has this homemade burger taste and feeling! Excellent customer service! My new Burger Spot is going forward!
The family and I went to late dinner and we stayed here at Mo's because we had the Double Cheeseburger and fries for $5. Of course I thought it was a huge burger and a few pommes. LOW AND BEHOLD the Burger was well justified and yes there are enough frits (may be a little hotter), except that I definitely have to try. As an additional bonus there is a waitress is very pleasant and will feel your visit there very appreciated and welcome her name is Sierra
I went to the Houston area for the Tex Tech Ole Miss Bowl game. I wanted to eat before I go to the stadium. I should spend a loan to eat there. Mo's Irish Pub was around the corner of the hotel and just wanted me to look. My waitress was super nice and gave me a food beer menu. There was a wide selection of beers and I chose a good one. She brought my beer of choice right away and I ordered my Shepard's Pie. The bowl of Shepard's Pie was the right size, not too big or too small. There were several large TVs scattered and most had bowling games on. If I'm ever back in Houston, I'll remember this place.
I have been a fan of this place since day 1 but it has been going downhill the last couple of years. I thought last year was the last straw. Details of that review remain below.Tonight:2 bartenders and about 8 people at the bar, about another 8 people total in the restaurant. We ordered spinach artichoke dip. About 25 minutes later we were presented with a plate of cold corn chips and an iron skillet containing almost entirely boiled spinach, dry and burnt around the top edges with a sprinkling of parmesan cheese and diced tomatoes. The server apologized profusely and he said he understood as we refused the order. We replaced it with onion rings. The server said yeah, they shouldn 't be able to mess that up . And yet what we received 20 minutes later was about 7 or 8 onion rings fused by fried batter into 2 big clumps of mess. After waiting with an empty beer glass for about 10 minutes, I called the bartender over for another beer. Both bartenders had walked by the empty glass multiple times at that point. I was hoping things had turned around here but sadly, it has not. An inspection of the restrooms revealed there has been no improvement in cleanliness there either. Mold and dirt on the air vents, accumulated dust on fixtures and surfaces. The food pictures in my review are from years past when the kitchen was much better run and consistent than currently. From last year:Today might be the last straw. We were the first people to walk in at opening at 3pm on Monday. We were told by the bartender Guinness wasnt available and the taps hadn 't been working since Saturday. The bathrooms were in a disgusting state with hair and algae growth in the sink, dirt and dust on the flushing fixtures, dirt and what appears to be mold on the air vents. Needless to say we left without ordering.
