The dining experience here is fantastic. They feature live music on weekend nights, which adds to the atmosphere. It can get a bit crowded at times, which may slow down the service, but when it comes to the taste and presentation of the food, this place really stands out. We've tried the pineapple with seafood, zarandeado shrimp, fried mojarra, devil shrimp, and aguachile, and everything is consistently fresh, flavor... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Las Islitas:
The ceviche wasn't what I expected; it was more like a dry, shiny dish. The service was good, though, and beer always enhances any meal. I should mention that it took quite a long time to prepare two ceviche garnishes. View all feedback.
I absolutely love this place! The complimentary starter is fantastic, and the seafood that follows is simply delicious!

Live music... extremely loud! Even the waitress hates it, she said it's so all the time! She had to lean on so that we ask her what we drink, good heart, we couldn't even go back, we had to wait until the song was to talk! the food was not so great, I asked for cocktail sauce, the waitress said, we have neither nor offer it, whaattt! a seafood place that does not offer cocktail sauce! our orders; roast garnel plate, whole fried tilapia and utter without cocktail sauce or wetar sauce, unheard of! never! no stars, but to post i had to give this place a star. Stay away!
My favorite Seafood restaurant in all of Houston. I’ve been going here for a very long time. The Mexican Shrimp Cocktail is superb.
