We went to Kaneyama this afternoon I'm amazed of this sushi restaurantIt is one of the best Japanese Resturants in Houston .
Do not order the Meso Ramen if you happen to go there ! I was served the most unsuitable food for human consumption when i went there last night.
I am a sushi lover and have been to many sushi places in H townThis one is definitely on the top of the list.
Best miso soup I have ever had. Ordered the sushi bento. Tasty. The tuna and salmon tasted fresh. The salad dressing was meh, but that may be because I wasn't expecting the ginger and the lettuce was nearly dropping wet. I liked the tempura veggies as well. Many restaurants could learn to bread foods with such the light touch. I'll be back, for sure.
I've been enjoying this restaurant since it reopened in the 90s. It's the ideal spot for an intimate dinner with a date, a lunch with friends, or even a private party. I've celebrated at least ten birthdays there, as well as my son's. The food is outstanding, the service is top-notch, and the music and artwork create an authentic atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.
