I decided to stop by this restaurant during my visit to the area, but it was a big mistake. The food was not authentic and tasted like a mix of rubber and Campbell's Chicken and Gumbo condensed soup, especially the seafood. It was a waste of both time and money. View all feedback.
Ordering everything that came in those bowls was the biggest mistake of my life because it definitely was not gumbo. It makes no sense for them to call themselves the Gumbo Factory when they can't even make a decent gumbo. Take my advice and don't bother going here. If you want a good seafood gumbo, I recommend BJ's Baywatch Meeresfruht.
The dish I ordered was not authentic gumbo. It had a tomato base with chicken pieces instead. While I wasn't upset, it just didn't meet my expectations for gumbo. Additionally, the server wasn't wearing gloves or masks, but the restaurant itself was clean.
