The sushi was good as always. We have done numerous orders to go and have always been impressed by the quality and speed of their food. Our order has always been correct and the food has always been delicious. View all feedback.
What Christine Foust doesn't like about Fujijapan:
Had a good variety of options. The ramen was good but would have liked some options for spicy. The rolls were fresh and presented nice but lacking in some memorable flavor. Glad they had kid meals. Service was not bad but had some room for improvement. View all feedback.
1st and last visit.. hibachi rice was old, steak and shrimp was oky. Shrimp in sushi was not fresh. We are definitely disappointed. Crab puffs and pork egg rolls was the only thing that was cooked well.Food: 1/5
Awesome spot. Just randomly came here and ordered some chicken fried rice. The fried rice was so good! I would definitely come back once I’m back on this side of town. Customer service is good as well. Love it.Food: 5/5
My first time visiting, and I had been wanting to try this place for a while! I was unimpressed with the quality of food in the bento box, but the variety was delightful. They do a daily appetizer for bento and it's happened to be gyoza, which was pretty good. The masterpiece was getting THE ONE ROLL, which really is its own meal, and was spectacular. So delicious! If you're a fan of creamy shrimp tempura and crab mix, this is great. The restroom was clean.Parking: Small number of spots directly in front of the building (in a strip mall), so likely parking in the lot.
For a small Japanese restaurant, the sushi is absolutely delicious. The fried rice and onion soup were okay but were light on seasoning. I definitely recommend their sushi rolls and sashimi as the sushi chef is skilled. Come for the sushi for sure.Food: 5/5
So this place was alright until my friend and I were getting the bills after finishing our meals. The waitress immediately came over to inspect our signed receipts after paying, then proceeded to question our millennial generation tipping.Because we didn't tip her at least 18% on the tab $50 each for 1 sake, 1 appetizer, 1 main course)We had to listen to her chastise us for not having done this. She doesn't get paid enough, etc.She tried to use a seemingly fake language barrier to disguise or pivot away from the socially unacceptable, but it was too late.My friend scratched out his tip, and I left her the $5 on the receipt for my $50 meal like I originally intended. Our generation doesn't tip you unless you deserve it. If you do deserve it, we'll usually pay you in cash so we know we aren't paying your restaurant or coworkers either.
