great tasting eating, large quantities, great for the price! I am very picky when it comes to the South Indian cuisine, and this place was really amazing and authentic. 10/10 will be back! updated by previous review on 2021-07-19 View all feedback.
This restaurant specializes in idlis and dosas, offering a simple menu. I ordered the delicious idlis, served with sambal and peanut chutney. Even though the ingredients listed butter, the cashier informed me they could make it vegan. According to a member of the Houston Vegans page, the owner is now vegan, making the restaurant very accommodating. They open at 6am and close early, making it a cheap and filling spot for early mornings and lunch.
