Farmer's Fresh Kitchen - Houston

The service at this restaurant is extremely poor. The meat is often sour in many dishes. I tried giving them a chance to improve their service, but the staff are rude and unable to follow simple instructions. Every time I asked them to cut the turkey wings a certain way, they did not listen. As a loyal and long-term customer, I have had enough and will not be returning. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contacted local media to expose my negative experience with this restaurant.

I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant, and it's the only meat market I visit because they open early.

I was very excited to try farmer’s fresh. oxtails and the engraving were very bland. the mais, yams and caulis on the side were decent. my expectations at this place after the evaluation were Sky-High, but now I know better. I was even in order with all the insects who flew around when eating would be amazing. so it seems not only the food breast, but its sanitation needs serious improvement. to farmer’s fresh: just because they look like a hole in the wall does not mean that they should taste like a real hole in the wall.

Lord have mercy....I have found the best place that serves soul food. I came by today 02/25/22 for the first time and I must say it won't be the last time. Let me start off by saying that this meat market is a very clean and very organized location. All the meats chicken sausage wings and etc are very presentable in their showcases..I hope that's what it's called. Next the meat market/store is very clean inside everything is very organized and the staff/employees are very kind and welcoming. Now the Deli/kitchen is mind blowing with all that food...OMG!!! There is so much food and sides here it's unbelievable. We bought 3 plates of oxtails it came with white rice and 2 sides some fluffy delicious cornbread and a drink. What amazes me is how big of a selection of food there is and these people are NOT PLAYING AROUND WITH THE PORTION SIZES...IM DEAD SERIOUS....YOU GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH. I love how the employees in the kitchen serving this amazing food are very kind and respectful. The food was very very finger licking delicious and I can't wait until I go back. I highly recommend this location.Thank you to ALL employees for such an amazing experience and I congratulate all of yall for having such a very clean and well organized establishment. Thank you also for cooking the best tender fall off the bone oxtails the best Mac and cheese the best corn and those mighty delicious yams that melt in your mouth.
