Crazy Alan's Swamp Shack - Houston

Great place for food and drinks! This is one of these great restaurants with cool things hanging on the wall and the atmosphere is fantastic. Right next to the marina on the Kemah Boardwalk. Great service and friendly staff. The food was amazing. We ordered the shrimps and fish dishes. It came with a salad, a cup of gumbo, bread for diving, roasted cat and shrimp with frits. I loved it. In MN and I'm not a Gumbo Connessiour anyway, but this Gumbo was the best I had. If anything, get Gumbo with you. Anyway, great place. I love this kind of restaurants. A

Stop visiting the area. The staff was great: funny attentive. The seats are covered and with a great crossing over the boat dock. The band was built before we left. There is an aquarium with a baby alligator and turtle. The food was good: shrimp poboy and oysters poboy an affordable.

A wonderful lunch overlooking the water in Kemah. The Blackened Catfish smashed in Alligator Etouffee is excellent, my son chose the Gator Burger and was equally satisfied. We'll be back soon. Thanks again.

Excellent Cajun seafood. Wide selection of menu items with some unique dishes. We enjoyed our appetizers and entrees and plan to come back.

Bomb A food. Perfectly cooked. Everyone here is friendly and easy to talk to. Checked in on us multiple times. Split their feast.and didn't finish. That definitely can feed 4 people.
