However, since it was my first time there, I ha... read more This place specializes in their chicken and rice dishes, but also offers a wide variety of dishes on their menu. However, since it was my first time there, I had to try just the classic chicken and rice dish. It was so delicious, and I was very full. The price is reasonable and you do get a very large amount of food. The chicken is very tender and flavorful. I also really liked the sauce and broth that came with the dish on the side.This place is very busy, but service was great. I would come back.

Could use more protein and mushrooms though. They don't use a bunch of bean sprouts as filler that ruins the crisp. Bunch of lettuce, mustard leaves, n herbs on the side. Took some leftovers n they offered me extra fish sauce.Also had their signature dish--com ga. I don't eat this dish often, but what I had was great. The dipping sauce makes the difference. Don't order this if you do not like ginger, garlic, or lemongrass. Comes with a side of simple chicken soup. They may ask you which parts of the chicken you want, but you'll probably will get whatever they want to give you.Would like to try other stuff when I come back.

The food was ab... read more My mother-in-law heard about this place and we decided to check it. Chicken and rice should never be put off. I'm so glad we stopped for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious! Chicken meat was juicy and delicate, rice was perfectly cooked, and the fish sauce for diving was so addictive! We also have the special chicken eggs I've never had. That was such a treat, and no one was was wasted at our table. All our dishes have been emptied! Our children have also tried to eat chicken rice, which was also tasteful and just on Asian comfort. I'm so glad we stopped here at a visit to Houston! We are from Washington DC/Metro area, so we also have many restaurants and if this was in our area, it would definitely be on my list of favorites frequently!

I believe this rings true for all visitors to the city. The dipping sauce is exquisite, and the steamed rice is perfectly cooked with the flavorful broth from the boiled chicken. It's a taste that’s unlike any other rice you’ve tried before.
