Absolutely! Here 's a revised version: My visit to Coltivare in the Heights area was simply delightful! The manager, Greg, ensured a seamless seating experience, and Jason, our attentive waiter, ensured our dishes arrived promptly and perfectly warm. The standout was definitely the pizza its crust was an absolute marvel, probably the best I 've ever tasted! To top it off, they surprised us with a delightful medley of... View all feedback.
Amazing food and atmosphere. We arrived relatively late, 9 a.m. on a Friday and an hour waiting. That should say how popular this place is. We waited around the bar area and were able to sit on the cooking table (seat in front of the kitchen). What a great experience. It was hard to decide to see dinner, all delicious dishes come from the kitchen. The appetizers were great, Fenell Salat was incredibly complex and the Yukon Pizza was delicious. So many flavors and all balanced and complimented. Our server was attentive and made great suggestions and it was nice to see how well the kitchen and staff worked together. When we got the cook, thanked us, the server said good night, and even the host and bar tenderly thanked us on the way. It was a beautiful gate to an excellent evening with such great food and service. Waiting is totally worth it and we're going to return.
Our server was helpful and attentive. The Spaghetti Black Pepper and the Pork Chop Milanese Entrees were well prepared and tasted fantastic. The wood roasted apple crostada and the chocolate rum cake desserts were a great final for such a wonderful meal. It is worth standing in line for 15 minutes.
It's a cookery. Yeah, you might have to wait a while. Yes, you have to make your way to the bar politely to submit your drink order. Yes, it's not a wise idea to come with a group larger than 6. Above all, yes every one of these small inconveniences is worth the effort because the food and service when you sit is incredible. Heck, the Tagliatelle court alone is worth driving across the whole city.
Consistently excellent- food, drink, service. Best Gin Tonic anywhere, pizza and pasta- YES! All ingredients SO fresh. Lettuces literally picked in the back yard. And not overpriced. The only thing not perfect is the no reservation policy- but worth the wait! On a nice night, wait for your table in the garden and enjoy a glass of wine. It's lovely!
Outstanding! Every bite was delicious. I woke up the next day dreaming about it. Coltivare just might be the best restaurant in Houston.
