The food is only half the experience! BF and I finally made it in after driving past this place so many times on our way home. Evenings and weekends you will surely eat with a crowd. We came during lunch and mostly had the entire place to ourselves. Maria made us feel like we were eating in our mothers kitchen. First time trying Athena. It's pretty good and the staff is extremely attentive.
We went here last night for the 1st time it was such a vibe! Our waiter Zay was awesome, had great recommendations very attentive. We tried the flaming Saganaki appetizer, white sweet wine, Yemista Seafood medley. All were delicious! The owner is there daily reassuring everything is perfection. She even came by to meet us. Highly recommend this authentic local spot. Apparently it's party time Friday Saturday nights too so we'll be back to join the festivities! $20 30 per person is including splitting the appetizer. Authentic greek wine bottle was around $40 50.
