They have consistently amazing espresso and cappuccino... read more This has become my wife and I's weekend breakfast stop. Super easy to get to after a run around memorial. They have consistently amazing espresso and cappuccinos. My wife loves the avocado bagel breakfast. Plus, I heard they have started making their scones and other pasteurized in house. Their other pastries are great, but for me the scone is where it's at. I love a quality scone and cappuccino for breakfast. I search out scones here in houston, and for the most part am disappointed. There are a couple shops that do a decent job, but most are cakey or covered in icing. The apricot scone from active passion, while not my favorite flavor (blueberry), is a very solid scone. The fruit is well distributed and flavor goes well with a hot morning bev. Just a little sugar sprinkled on top, not too heavy. One of the best scones I have had in houston.

The iced l... read more The breakfast tacos are absolutely amazing! The chef here is talented and has also prepared some fantastic breakfast sandwiches on croissants for me. The iced lattes are consistently excellent, and my dog really enjoys the pup cups. There is ample seating both indoors and outdoors, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They also have a large backyard that not many people seem to know about, which is perfect for some extra space for dogs or kids. I would rate this place a perfect 10/10. As for parking, the lot is small, but I've never had trouble finding a spot.
