I agree with previous reviews. Do not be put off by the appearance of this place. The staff are very nice and friendly and the fresh bread, meringues, tarts etc are really lovely. The pizzas are really nice also. The margarita pizza had chunky fresh...tomato and pesto which my kids didn’t like but I loved it. They preferred the salami pizza my husband and I had. Lady at the checkout not very friendly Rather expensive for a cooking terminal and do not take the credit card below 5€ After calculating the credit card fees being 0.9%, the fees for the bakery would be a maximum of 4 cents by accepting the credit card below €5 Needless to say, they are not very accommodating. I and my partner bought three pizza it was amazing! we had to wait minutes. we took our pizza to the beach and had an evening on the beach with amazing pizza
After we stumbled for the first time in our trip over la fabrique, we were trapped. best coffee for miles to the coast and hands down the best croissants we ever had. brilliant friendly staff that always had a smile. one day we went. for breakfast and stayed until lunch. the baguettes and pizzas are also amazing! will be the first place we go for croissants and coffee when we are in the opposite next year
We had the best pizzas here of all the places we tried in Hourtin Plage - super thin crusts and delicious and well cooked toppings. The seafood Du Port was excellent. They use 'bio' flour. Takeaway pizzas were doing a roaring trade. They also do good crepes and ice cream and bake bread and pastries on the premises. Free WiFi and breakfast deals are available. Friendly staff complete the experience.La Fabrique is the first restaurant you come to on the right after leaving Cote d'Argent campsite walking towards the sea - opposite the Surfing Tomato grocery.
There are lots of pizza places in Hourtin Plage. These are the best - super thin crusts and tasty, well cooked toppings. There's also good crepes, ice cream and pastries. Doubles as a patisserie as well. Does takeaways and free wifi as well. Friendly staff. Recommended.
