Description

Located by the river and brimming with atmosphere, this restaurant offers a diverse pizza menu and an impressive selection of ciders, making it a perfect spot for families and food enthusiasts alike. While many diners have lauded the crispy, thin-crust pizzas and unique toppings, a few have noted inconsistencies in quality and service during their visits. The convenience of a loyalty app and enticing deals like Tuck in Tuesday add to its appeal, though some wish for a more traditional ordering method. Overall, it's a recommended destination for delicious meals and vibrant dining experiences.

We wanted somewhere child friendly for a quick lunch before visiting a local museum and this place is ideal! Right next to the river, lovely glass frontage, autumnal sun streaming in. The pizzas are thin based, so you don't get full on bread. The toppings are unusual which is a welcome change. We had five adults, a toddler and a baby in our group. The toddler enjoyed his pizza as much as anyone, and even the baby had a go (though more used to semi liquid food at this stage)! We would definitely recommend!

This is a busy restaurant but we were quickly shown to a table. It’s a bright place and staff always give you a warm welcome. We all ordered the chicken pies which came freshly cooked and piping hot. There is always plenty of chicken in the pies and the chunky wedges are delicious. It’s great to find a place where the staff are so welcoming and the prices are reasonable. We will be back.

The pizzas were very good and highly recommend trying the cider tasters. Staff very and helpful. There is also a good loyalty scheme with their app which is worth using

After a cold day at Kew Gardens, walking back over Kew Bridge we noticed the Stable. What a relief! Five hungry travellers were welcomed and not only that, it was the Tuesday night deal! An activity sheet with crayons was provided too for each of our girls. The pizzas had a thin and crispy base with great toppings. I had a Billy the Kid (vegetarian) really nice with goats cheese amongst the toppings. Our girls then enjoyed a chocolate brownie and ice cream desert while I had a coffee. Good service and value for money. Pleased, will go there again when visiting Kew.

We have visited this restaurant a few times and have found the pizzas to be decent and reasonably priced at £6.50 for lunch. However, on this particular visit, we were informed that the lunch menu is now only accessible through their app. After attempting to navigate the menu and place an order multiple times, we were unsuccessful due to being timed out. Frustrated, we decided to leave and went to Franca Manca in Chiswick instead, where they offer paper menus with all options listed and the option to order from a human server. The experience at Franca Manca was much more seamless and enjoyable compared to the hassle we encountered at the previous restaurant.
