the pancake here is really good. one of the best in london. omelette is very beautiful, although the price is a bit high for the extras. heifer latte and hot chocolate are also good, but it will be much better if they can make the milk thicker. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Coffee Traveller:
I only popped in today for 2 large coffees and a tea, and I like my tea very strong so asked very politely if I could put the milk in myself to which I was told No! The Lady proceeded to put the milk in and then said 'How 's that ' to which I replied to much milk! She then made another cup and I asked her to put the milk in a separate cup which she did and when I got to work opened the lid it was half full £3.00 a cu... View all feedback.
This is a gem of a place. Owner Aziza is a former journalist who fell in love with the premises and location, and set about creating a delightful spot for coffee or lunch. Aziza herself is usually here taking care to give customers a friendly welcome, a delicious pastry or tasty lunch. The garden at the back is an oasis. I’ll definitely be back.
Soup of the Day was a moroccan dish with chicken, fava beans, peppers and spring onions, accompanied by cheese toast on the side. This was a delicious, light lunch, perfect for warding off the chilly wind by the Thames at Chiswick. As ever, Tajbir was warm and friendly towards her sometimes irritating customers! I love this idiosyncratic café, slightly off the main drag. It's an oasis of calm in West London. Thank you Tajbir!
Cosy. Warm. Rustic. Attention to detail. Quality tea and pastries, delicious smoothies. Sunday morning chill and relax.
I’ve frequented The Coffee Traveller a few times: out of necessity if I am honest, because there aren’t many other places to grab a quick coffee near to my house. The coffee is actually fabulous which always lures me back, although, I have to say, I’ve always felt that the atmosphere tends towards the cold and unpleasant end of the spectrum. But, no matter, I rush in and grab a coffee to go and rush back out again. This week, when I popped in, it felt like a completely different place, so much so that I wonder if the management has changed. The girls who greeted me were so pleasant and welcoming, inviting me to sit down and enjoy my coffee with a pastry just to mix things up. I actually stayed for a while, rather than dash off as I usually do, and returned with my laptop later to catch up on some work. I am hoping this change is permanent, as it felt like the icy cafe of the past has become a place I can really enjoy spending time.
What a gem. Was attracted here by pictures of the coffee and it did not disappoint! What a gem of a place. Lovely inside and outside space there are a huge number of tables. Food was good although prices were high £2.99 to add a single poached egg?? . Will definitely be back… but maybe just for that great coffee!
