What Paddington bear001 doesn't like about Passage To India:
We ordered a mixed Grill, vegtable Jalfrezi, lamb gosh, saag, and 4 butter naans The food was delivered cold and the butter naans were plain. The mixed grill had items that were not fully cooked and the food was very chilly even after we asked it to be lightly spiced. My children felt sick and unwell after having the food. After my complaint the manager could only say that he would tell the chef. A great disappointmen... View all feedback.
The restaurant was fantastic, with friendly staff and delicious food. The portion sizes were generous and we had a wonderful time - we will definitely be returning.
Don't pay attention to old reviews, as the restaurant now has new management and has improved its decor and food quality. I recently hosted my son's birthday party there in December and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the naans and desserts were tasty. We all had a wonderful time. The old photos of the restaurant should be updated to reflect the new improvements.
We went to this restaurant in a large group and initially, everything seemed okay. However, as the evening progressed, the service started to deteriorate. The food was brought out slowly and when it did arrive, it felt rushed as if they were just throwing it onto the table for us to eat. While the chicken and lamb starters were tasty, the vegetarian option was disappointing. The dhal was watery and unappetizing, and the aloo gobi was lacking in gobi. The main dishes took a long time to come out and were also rushed, with yogurt being brought out towards the end of the meal. The dessert, a gulab jamun, was okay but the kulfi ice-cream was not enjoyable. The drinks, particularly the spirits, seemed watered down. The owner, identifiable by his Prince tattoo, was rude when I asked for something, snapping that they were busy and couldn't cater to my request. Overall, the experience was negative and I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. One member of our group aptly described it as more of a back passage to India than a Passage to India.

Today's dining experience was fantastic. The restaurant was clean and the food was brought to us quickly. Brandus provided excellent customer service and the chef was highly skilled. A big thank you, I hope that Ranjot gives them the recognition they deserve. I highly recommend this restaurant, and the owner Ranjot is also very kind and knowledgeable.
