Situated in a great spot within Chiswick Park Gardens, this café/restaurant is adequate, 'though seemed to struggle to produce a tea coffee within 5 or so minutes, even with 2-3 members of staff behind the counter, each working on the single customer in frotn... View all feedback.
What wiltingbas doesn't like about Chiswick House:
The grounds of Chiswick House are splendid but the cafe is not for everyone. Located by the playground it is noisy and was filled with screaming children during my visits. View all feedback.
We came here for lunch many years ago and were surprised to the amazing quality of the food. Today we went back to find it has slipped into inedible. Bangers and mash in a beige gunk that looked like dog vomit with a plastic mash, a child's pizza slithery as rubber packed with plastic cheese, a burnt sandwich and a truly revolting chilli con carne. One one the most horrific meals I've ever had . What a shame. My cappuccino was nice though.
Amazing atmosphere, full of happy diners! Our group had burgers, salads, pizza nothing but positive feedback all round!
The staff here are completely charmless and sullen, monosyllabic and borderline rude, and they don’t accept cash … we won’t be returning …
This café in west London is known for its incredibly friendly staff and delicious coffee and food. The almond croissants are a must-try and the service is top-notch. Give it a go!
The sandwiches at this restaurant are overpriced and extremely soggy (almost falling apart), and the staff are unfriendly and appear annoyed to even take payment. I overheard other customers at nearby tables also expressing dissatisfaction. I won't be returning - next time, I'll be bringing my own picnic instead of dining at this place associated with English Heritage.
