What Melissa G doesn't like about Woolly's Grill And Cellar:
After a busy day in the parks, my companions and I were famished when we arrived at Wolly's. The offer of unlimited sides, soups, and salads was especially appealing. For lunch... View all feedback.
While on a road trip near Hot Springs, South Dakota, we found ourselves with limited dining options and decided to try Woolly's based on the Happy Cow review of their vegan products. To our surprise, the owners of Woolly's are also vegan and were able to offer us a variety of delicious vegan options from their menu. They even went above and beyond by preparing some special dishes for us. The salad bar was impressive with a variety of prepared salads like gazpacho, roasted potatoes, and pickled asparagus. The standout dish of the evening was the baked potato with homemade vegan pesto. Thank you, Woolly's, for catering to us vegans. We can't wait to visit again on our next trip!

This restaurant was recommended by our cabin hostess. Though it ended up being quite pricey, the steak dinner and drinks were fantastic. The side dishes are all buffet style and dessert was...
I ordered the garden burger without mayo or cheese, and requested it to be vegan. The server informed me that the owners are all vegan, and recommended their new vegan patty that supposedly tastes similar to beef. Although I was initially hesitant, I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be the Beyond Burger, which my husband and I had tried before. He ordered his with fries, while I paid an additional $3 for a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar had a variety of fresh ingredients, including vegan options like pasta salad and carrot/pepper salad. Our daughter, who is a picky eater, was able to order a meal for $7 that included steamed broccoli, fries, access to the salad bar, a drink, and even a vegan gummy treat. We all enjoyed our meal along with their onsite microbrew. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is vegan and in the area, as it seems to be one of the only dining options available for those with dietary restrictions.
