During our visit to Hot Springs to see family and a close friend, we were delighted to discover this restaurant! The owners were very attentive and passionate about their food, leaving us feeling happy. We sampled everything on the menu. While I can't recall exactly what we ordered since it was a few months ago, I highly recommend trying this hidden gem. If I'm not mistaken, they frequently update their menu to offer new and exciting options.
We discovered Silk Road in Hot Springs, South Dakota during a road trip and decided to come back the next day for lunch. The vegan in our group enjoyed the aloo masala (mixed vegetables and potatoes), while the vegetarian loved the kali daal (black lentils boiled with tomatoes and onions). Both dishes came with a generous serving of diced rice and naan bread (vegan option without the chutney), followed by a delicious vegan baklava for dessert. If you consume dairy, don't miss out on the Masala chai. The Pakistani fizzy soft drinks are also amazing and shouldn't be overlooked.
