What Gilly Claydon doesn't like about Second Home:
Dogs allowed outside ! Chicken strips were edible. Fries were not. Welcome was friendly so we didn't complain as we were just passing through but on the way back we will stop somewhere else. View all feedback. What johnny likes about Second Home:
The food was delicious and fresh. Wait time was a bit longer than we expected. Cleanliness of the atmosphere could use some improvement, but the service overall was good, friendly, and attentive. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in a scenic spot, this restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences. Guests appreciate the friendly service and some standout dishes, particularly the homemade chicken fried steak and split pea soup. However, inconsistencies in food quality have been noted, with concerns over cleanliness and food safety. While some diners enjoyed the freshly prepared meals, others found the fries soggy and the atmosphere sticky. Though prices are on the higher end, the inclusion of a fresh salad bar adds value. Overall, while there are highlights, improvements in service and cleanliness could elevate the dining experience.
