that was a great experience for us that eating our expectations consisted only one thing that was tested, was the dame that took our order was not really listening to my friend about their allergies, but it was sorted out, and no harm came to maggie! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Fighting Cocks Pub And Riverside:
No fizzy drinks available. No lime cordial. Bar area cold. Food was nice. Service a bit slow and we had to call several times to pay our bill as the staff were all chatting at the bar. View all feedback.
Very enjoyable with attentive staff and the food was delicious
Very busy place. Helpful pleasant staff. Good selection of choices on the menu. Good quality food. Nice family pub with a large beer garden
Great Sunday Roast . Friendly Staff. Good range 9f low alcohol drinks available for drivers.
Food was not good, just all dumped onto of each other, flies wasps everywhere, waitress seemed like she was doing you a favour! Awful experience…first and definitely last time.
My friend and I enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast lunch here which is excellent value but huge! This would suit most people with a very healthy appetite but it was a shame that my elderly friend could not do it justice although she gave it a good go! I would suggest offering a slightly smaller size of roast dinner (price adjusted accordingly) for those with smaller appetites. This isn't a complaint, just a suggestion. The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. I have only marked down the score I've given for ambience because, on a warm sunny day, it does get uncomfortably hot in the conservatory and there are no blinds.
