Up Tempo - Horsham

One of the waitress was doing her hair right behind the counter where coffees are being prepared and cakes are served. The hatch window behind her was the kitchen where all the food for the customers was being prepared. I didn't like that at all - not hygienic.

The food at this cafe is super healthy and super delicious. Presentation is fantastic and there is a great selection of drinks and cakes also. Front counter service was lovely and friendly with Mel working the orders and register. Food was prepared quickly by Chef Bec and was to die for. Well done girls you made my visit one to remember and are both assets to this business.

I have been to Up Tempo several times now and I enjoy the freshness of the food and the quiet, spacious surroundings. I was surprised by a number of people who walked in and out again without really looking at the menu. I heard one person say "they don't do chips." No they don't and I a glad that they don't.Up Tempo prides itself on serving a healthier option with some decadent delights thrown in. The staff are very friendly, there is space to sit down and talk, and plenty of parking behind. I suggest entering from Mill Street rather than try and drive through the service station and car wash. There are plenty of tasty options for all on the menu!For ex-Horsham-ites who are wondering what used to be on the site before the transformation: if I had a dollar for every hour I stood in this building getting one part or another for our header during the annual harvest I could buy this cafe (I think!)

We have been to Up Tempo for lunch on two occasions and have been impressed both times. The menu is a good size with ample variations to cater for all tastes. The service is both welcoming and effective. Tables are well spaced so there is no sense of being hemmed in you get in some places.We will be going back.It is handy for travellers being on the highway next to the BP servo.
