Dropped by on spec as I was doing a walk nearby had dog in tow. A great welcome, friendly folk and a fine pint of Harvey then another. Food looked expensive but turned out to be excellent therefore good value. Lovely riverside location.... View all feedback.
What Rue J doesn't like about The White Hart:
This has got to be the worst Ploughman’s I have ever had! The pork pie was disgusting and the bread was thin cheap white processed sliced bread , griddled a bit! Come on, how dare you and charge £16.00. Never again. The only good thing was the person serving, she was good. View all feedback.
Can I say a big thank you to all the staff at The White Heart for giving us a lovely weekend. We had booked a meal on the Friday and Saturday night. The pub is set in a lovely peaceful location despite the main road...
We stopped here on the way back to our holiday let after a short local tour. Nicely situated next to the old river bridge with a large garden area, we sat by the river with drinks to relax. Warm friendly welcome from staff and locals....
We visited The White Hart after the Stopham Vineyard tour and would absolutely recommend this, it's a delight. We sat outside with a fabulous view of the ancient Stopham Bridge and the River Arun, and the staff were really friendly, super helpful and personable despite...
First time eating here and it did not disappoint. The staff were all really lovely. The food was delicious, my friend had the pork and I had the vegan pie with veg. Both tasted amazing! We will definitely be going back!
Lovely meet out. Staff were very kind and considerate to our needs. Did a few gluten free options/bread with foods. Lovely desserts. Food filled us up but wasn’t too much. Gorgeous view.
