There was a la... read more The ambiance in The Queen's was delightful, featuring a diverse crowd of both young and old patrons, some dressed up and others in casual attire. There was a large group having a gathering, and they had ordered about 30 fish and chips from The Cove, which was wonderful to see since the pub was accommodating enough to allow them to enjoy outside food. In fact, as I was leaving, I noticed a sign outside inviting customers to bring their own sandwiches! Clearly, they don’t serve food themselves! I was torn between giving this place a 4 or a 5-star rating, but I ultimately decided on a 5, especially due to how welcoming the landlady was. I had a pleasant experience and left feeling happy, so I’ll definitely be back!
