Gilligan's Cafe Bar - HORSESHOE BAY

This place is amazing for the price.....friendly staff the rooms are basic but very clean we also stayed at peppers which was double the price and i wish I had of stayed here the whole time. We got food from the supermarket that kept in the fridge for breakfast and snacks and there is a great pub next door that has amazing food for cheap I'm mean $12 for a plate of dinner. My son got to play in a games room with some free games provided and we relaxed by the swimming pool while eating...the is a beautiful bay across the road that is heaven....we will be back here to stay every year now.

We have had breakfast twice at Gilligans during our holiday on Maggie. Our first group was 6 and the second time there were 5 of us. Service was prompt, food terrific and even with a minor hiccup with some missed eggs, problem was resolved quickly. Staff great, venue out the back was lovely. Highly recommend.

What a fun place to have a meal we had breakfast at Gilligans food was great and really big servings which suited my husband, the coffee was great. Just need to check what days it is open as we drove past a few times and it was closed

They only clean what is visible, just so that it gives the impression that you can have breakfast at ease. But the interior of the bar leaves a lot to be desired. The bathrooms and I don't even tell you ... Good coffee and correct food. But after seeing how they had the tables and the bathroom, I don't want to imagine La Cocina ... without a doubt there are better places and where people are more friendly to go for breakfast.

We visited her a few times. i loved the salmon crepe for breakfast. they have gluten free options. very friendly service. it was often closed when we came by hoping for a late lunch or ice cream.. that was a shame. it would be great if it were open for dinner some times. a really nice place.
