Outstanding expérience with the 5 course menu. Beyond all expectations. Super service and loads of expertise from the chef Absolute must-see in the fantastique MACS museum
Exceptional experience at Rizom. We had the four-course meal with wine and a cocktail. The wine selection was amazing, they had an original take on the Aperol Spritz, and the broccoli starter was just divine. Beautiful industrial decor. Thank you for a lovely evening
We had an amazing Sunday set lunch here today. Thank you. for looking after us as we had limited time before rushing for the Eurotunnel. The Wallonian cremant was gorgeous!
Unacceptable treatment of a breastfeeding mother As a nursing mother visiting with my husband, 8 month old baby, and friend, I had an extremely disappointing experience at Rizom today. We simply wanted to enjoy drinks during our museum visit and were initially welcomed to sit. I ordered what the menu claimed to be a non alcoholic beer, as I 'm breastfeeding and need to be cautious about any alcohol consumption. When the waitress brought a beer containing <0.5% alcohol, my husband pointed this out for safety reasons. The waitress was understanding and offered to replace it with a true 0.0% beer, taking the original away. She gave no indication this would result in an additional charge. What happened next was shocking. The chef approached our table and confronted us about paying for the removed beer, claiming <0.5% is considered non alcoholic in Belgium. As a breastfeeding mother, even trace amounts of alcohol are concerning this isn 't about local regulations but about my baby 's health and safety. His response when we explained the breastfeeding situation was dismissive: you should have said something. This completely ignores the fact that I was clearly holding and caring for an 8 month old baby throughout our visit. Any attentive server would notice a young infant and exercise appropriate caution. The chef 's confrontational approach lasted several uncomfortable minutes, during which he also criticized our request for an empty water glass. When my husband mentioned sharing this experience online, the chef actually tried to haggle the price down to his cost showing he knew his behavior was inappropriate. This experience was particularly upsetting as a new mother trying to enjoy a simple outing. The lack of understanding and empathy for nursing mothers ' needs is completely unacceptable, especially from a restaurant with Gault et Millau recognition. Service: Confrontational and insensitive to nursing mothers Staff awareness: Poor understanding of family needs Communication: Terrible charges not disclosed upfront
Very nice address. reception, decoration, meals everything was up to the height. We spent a good time, the menu was checked from beginning to end. product, taste, texture, cooking no false note. I recommend it. We've been a little bit busy and he's been mastered. Thank you. We'll be back with pleasure.
