Lovely food from chef ANYA who is just 18 years old and had the privilege of meeting, gorgeous food, we had starters.. scallops and pork belly bites, mains sirloin steak, pork belly. Deserts..creme brulee and Eaton mess, ..Cafe by day, evening menu from 5.30 be sure to book, don't pass this by... Lovely waitress Lucy... Excellent service, really friendly, helpful staff, went above and beyond to ensure my meal choice was all vegan; they came to the table to check with me rather than assuming. They were the same with all customers, you could tell it was genuine service, not just playing at it. (I’ve worked in customer service for 40 years and can tell . Just spent a lovely afternoon, having afternoon tea with my mother and mother-in-law. The service was 6 stars, the staff were incredibly attentive, with a special mention to Jessica, who was lovely and smiley and really looked after us. We had a reserved table inside but with a great view of the broad, doors wide open to enjoy the late summer breeze. The tea itself was a massive spread, and we took a doggy-box home.
