Nishan Tandoori - Havering

We had prawn curry and there was hardly a prawn in the dish. Sorry to say it’s not quite as good as was so it’s a disappointment to write this review

I like hot curry and have not been disappointed. Very good choice of dishes and lovely breads. Excellent overall and I would recommend Nishan. I have only had food delivered, don’t think that its a sit in restaurent

The food at this restaurant is delightful and I have ordered from here several times. The prices are very reasonable and consistent. I always recommend this place to others.

I have been a loyal customer of "The Nishan" since 1995, when I used to be a taxi driver for PM cars near Emerson Park station. I have always enjoyed the food there. However, during my recent visit on a Saturday night to collect my order, I witnessed a concerning incident in the kitchen. One of the chefs dropped some Bombay Potatoes on the floor and then proceeded to pick them up with his hands and put them back into the pan. This was unacceptable to me, as the floor is not a hygienic place for food to be prepared. I decided to cancel my order and leave the restaurant, feeling disappointed and let down. I will not be ordering from "The Nishan" again and will be reporting this incident to Environmental Health.
