Contribute FeedbackThe Harvester Compasses restaurant received mixed reviews. Some customers experienced booking issues with OpenTable, causing disappointment on Mother's Day. One family had a scary moment when a chair fell apart, but the staff handled it well. The food was generally enjoyed, with the grilled dishes standing out. The staff were accommodating and helpful, making it a good option for families with young children. While some felt the salad bar had fewer options, overall, the experience was pleasant. It is recommended to visit Harvester Compasses but avoid using OpenTable for bookings.
A last minute booking for us, but a welcome respite
A rare family day out to celebrate a birthday, food was okay. By chance one of the chairs fell apart whilst sitting on it. Luckily noone was harmed but scared us as seated in the seat was a retiree. Overall it was nice just a bit of a scare. The salad bar appears to have less selection compared to the past. Too full to try the dessert
Booking was not honoured, they called to say open table is a third party and they should not have booked it.Probably unfair to rate harvester low as they are blaming open table, but at the end of the day it meant my mother didn’t get to go out on Mother’s Day
Excellent service one member of the party was in a wheel chair nothing to much trouble
The Harvester Compasses, was brilliant especially as we booked using ‘open table’ which confirmed a booking but didn’t actually book the table with Harvester, they were fantastic and helped sort out the mess. Please visit eat at Harvester but do not use ‘open table’
