The only meat (non-fish) curry on offer was a Th... read more I visted the other day for a lunchtime buffet menu and found it very poor in quality. My main problems were: 1. The only meat (non-fish) curry on offer was a Thai green curry, and even then not a good or tasty one. A Thai green curry? In an Indian restaurant? That is seriously lacking in imagination and authenticity, and I know some Indian restaurant owners who would be horrified by that. You are an Indian restaurant, provide at least ONE choice of Indian meat curry. If I wanted Thai food I would go to a Thai restaurant, and it is better to stick to what you can cook well, rather than cook other cuisines badly. Very disappointing buffet choice and quality. 2. The buffet was not re-filled in a timely manner, there were moments when we had to wait for 5-10 minutes for food to be replaced. This is not acceptable. 3. Naan breads were not part of the buffet and had to be purchased additionally. This is very mean and not in line with other Indian restaurants. 4. The serving staff looked unhappy. The gentleman waiter especially so. I would not go back there for the buffet again.

The restaurant is right next to the Horgen Oberdorf train station. If you don't care about price, the taste was very good, atmosphere at the bar was good, view of Zurichsee was also very good but be ready to pay first class prices. The meat that they use in curry is very tender. It's a good change from all the Italian and sausage restaurants. I would definitely go back here again because everything our table ordered was delicious.
