Beautiful room, friendly staff and good breakfast. speed limit on the road seems to be ignored!

This is the garlic bread two small pieces which were burnt as a side and also 4 wafer thin onion rings which were cold The steak I had was very grisly and the pepper corn sauce was like dish water My wife had tagliatelle with green veg the green veg consisted of a couple of peas and also just warm We had to ask for a steak knife and condiments. The table next to us was given a bottle of wine with a cork that was unopened and they had to call the waitress over and she tried unscrewing the bottle as if it had a cap At the end of the meal they did not ask if everything was okay The meals we had planned to have were not available as shown on the website I expected a lot better quality and service for the price we paid The we did complain and the owner did say he would get in touch but he didn’t

Lovely little pub. Tall people must mind their heads, low roof cottage style pub.Gorgeous and clean

This establishment was once a pleasant spot for a drink, but the new staff owners were found to be very rude. The wine glasses were dirty, and when a customer requested a clean glass, they were told "that's how they come." This kind of behavior is not acceptable in any respectable pubs or restaurants. The bar stopped serving at 9:30 and the staff gave customers the cold shoulder. Overall, the service was poor and I would recommend avoiding this place. Rating: 1/5.

We only stayed at The Crown for one night, but our experience was delightful. The room had a charming mix of old and modern décor. The evening meal we had was outstanding, just as the photos online had shown. Stephen, who greeted us and prepared our meal, was very attentive. Despite being a young staff, they all represented the establishment well.
