Eating was okay. I cost my salad roll. but there it stops. I'm on the move. the floor was greasy had to walk carefully. the windows in the dining area are dirty. eat and drink over them. tables not cleaned. I need to clean up your act. View all feedback.
Best Vietnamese rolling in the opposite. the meat had tastestacks, the brot was beautiful and crispy and the picking vegien had a nice sweet. $7 is a little more than you would pay in footscray, but I think it's worth it.
The Baker’s Son is a fusion bakery offering two of my favourite things Aussie baked goods and Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches. Taking out a grilled chicken banh mi and dusted vanilla slice I devoured both outside. The banh mi was not bad, but compared to my usual shredded chicken at Fresh Chilli Deli in St Albans it was inferior on every level. I opted for the dusted vanilla slice over the other two varieties as the chocolate topped slice brought back memories of last weeks visit to Craigieburn, and the icing on the traditional slice looked thick and heavy and the custard even more like jelly.
Great Vietnamese rolls, the staff put a lot of pride into what they create and you can tell all of there products are really, really fresh. Also, great pies too. That is probably one of the best pies I’ve had in a long time. If your near Hoppers Station call into the shopping centre and snap up a few goodies located near The Coles within the centre. Their donuts are beautiful, especially the custard donuts. Don’t even get me started about the Long Jons. Beautiful stall, taken good care of. Money well spent and prices reasonable for such beautiful food.
There was quite a queue in front of the counter during lunch time, and honestly, I like to see people queuing. It's a sign for a good food! As usual, my hungry tummy started to ring it's bell. While queing, I saw the staff changed the oily cutting board with the new one. Clearly they tried to keep the counter n utensils clean in between. Hygienic! Clap..clap! And now the verdict for the food.. The bread roll was softer than the roll I had from the other shop. Didn't hurt my palate, but then the downside it became a bit chewy. (Now I'm not sure what I want. A bread that can hurt the roof of my mouth or the chewy roll that gives my teeth an extra work). Generous filling overall, juicy bbq...read more
Delicious Viet rolls, always really fresh ingredients and super friendly staff. The roast pork is so flavoursome and the crackle always hits the spot
