Tomatello's Latin Cuisine - Hopewell

I wasn't a fan of their guacamole, as it was too salty, and the chips were excessively salty as well. The seafood stew didn't have the fresh tomato flavor I expected, nor did it carry any smoky or spicy notes; it reminded me of canned tomato soup. However, my friend shared their empanada with me, and it was truly unique and delicious. Based on all the great reviews, I think it's important to choose the right dishes, and the empanada is definitely one of them. That said, it's unlikely that I'll return, as I didn't enjoy my meal and have experienced better Mexican restaurants.

Tomatello's is a fantastic spot to start with, and it's even better knowing that they are tree nut free. When I chatted with Ayda, she mentioned that she is also very allergic to tree nuts, so I felt reassured. There are occasionally coconut palms around, but I'm confident that there are no traces of other tree nuts and that there’s no risk of cross-contamination. Tomatello's always offers fresher food than Chipotle, and this locally run family restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere that Chipotle simply can't replicate.

This restaurant is fantastic! I just can't fathom the few negative reviews. The food is incredibly fresh! I love how you can truly savor each ingredient instead of being overwhelmed by salt or sauce. That’s not to say the food lacks flavor—quite the opposite! I really appreciate being able to taste the actual paprika, onions, and so on. I absolutely love it here!

Enjoyed dining at this cute establishment in Hopewell. The food was fresh and delicious. My only regret was that I didn't try one of the desserts. Next time I shall!
