My husband took me to dinner for my birthday, and I couldn 't be more pleased. It 's BYOB so you don 't have to worry about breaking the bank! We had purchased a great deal from groupon which applied to everything on the menu. Despite the amazing array of options, I couldn 't resist my usual favorite and ordered a giant platter of Pad Thai. I 'm sure I 'll still be consuming the leftovers next week. I even received a... View all feedback.

During my visit to New Jersey, my sister recommended this Thai restaurant, claiming it was excellent. However, I might have hit it on an off night, as I found the food to be just average. We started with the spring rolls, which were complimentary with a Yelp check-in. They arrived quickly but were lukewarm and rather bland. For my main dish, I ordered the Kao Pad Kra Prow with shrimp, which, to their credit, was quite spicy—just how I like it—but ultimately not very memorable. The Thai iced tea was decent, though not the best I've ever had. On a positive note, the service was good, and the staff was friendly.

He and his team provided phenomenal service. We will definitely be back.
I've finally found a Thai restaurant that I'm obsessed with. And that's a problem, because now everything else tastes mediocre compared to it. I've been coming to this place for a few months now, and the food is magnificent. It has some of the tastiest dishes you'll ever have. The best part is that you get a really big portion. Is it a bit pricey? Yes. But, I don't mind paying it, because I love good quality, and I don't mind supporting a local small business in hopes that it expands and becomes more prosperous. When I go there, I always get the pad Thai, and add the crispy duck with it, which is cooked to perfection. They do what a lot of other thai places don't do, which is add peanuts to the side, chopped very thinly. Also, the sauces are always so amazing and the spice that's added always compliments it perfectly. I can see why now that this place got such a high rating with taste. Do yourself a favor, and head over there and get some of the amazing food they have to offer. Great seating, great staff, great food and you'll really enjoy the pictures in the restaurant and atmosphere. It has outside seating as well. The only con I have is that the appetizers and dishes are a little pricey, so I can't go there as much as I'd like, but, it's the only Thai place I go to now, until something else I find can compete. I hope to film there for my YouTube show and show all of you how good it really is. So, stay tuned for details. 4/5 stars!
We came here last minute for dinner on Saturday night. There was no wait, which I love, but they did get busier as the night went on. We started with the chicken satay, which was good, and split the pineapple fried rice and chef's special handmade noodles. I'm not a fried rice person, but that was delicious!! It wasn't dry at all like fried rice sometimes can be. The rice noodles were fantastic as well. My mom said it was the best Thai food she's had! The waiters were all kind and accommodating. We'll be back!!
We absolutely loved the food at Da's Thai in Princeton. It was fresh, tender, flavourful. Over the past 2 years since they've not been at the Y, we were hoping they would return. Last summer there were some issues with their new spot in Hopewell, but they're now open. Inside the space is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly, everything spotless. No one batted an eye when we brought in our daughter, who is 17.5 months old. Our favourite Thai dishes are crispy duck and whole fried fish, followed by beef salad. No duck or fried fish at lunch time today. No worries--we'll have the spring rolls, tom yum goong, tiger's tears (their version of beef salad), and a green curry with squid. To put it bluntly, Da's food has changed, likely to cater to their new customers. I was reminded of our first few dozen visits to restaurants in Princeton, with overcooked food. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside, but mushy on the inside--not the filling, but the skin. The beef in the salad was inedible--chewy tough--even though the sauce was spicy enough to my liking. The chicken in the soup was overcooked--kind of mushy and chalky--even though the broth had a really good flavour and the vegetables were tasty. Then came the green curry, this time with overcooked, chewy rubbery squid in an overly sweet, almost soapy broth, which my daughter spat out. The staff is really nice, the atmosphere warm inviting. The other tables were filled with couples nearing or at retirement who seemed to enjoy themselves thoroughly. The worst part is that we were so excited about Da's opening. I hope these are just some kinks from the delayed opening and that their food returns to the mindblowingly amazing food they had from the tiny kitchen at the Y. $55/lunch for 2.5, including tax and tip
