Upon arrival the host could not find my reservation even though I had received confirmation and showed them it. Luckily there were some spare tables so our evening was not ruined. We opted for the special weekend menu that offered 2/3 courses with a bottle of wine. This was excellent and we were well looked after by Jacques. View all feedback.
What Max Lloyd doesn't like about The Castle:
Was expecting good food as the pubs round the castle all sell nice home made type dishes. We were disappointed and I didn't pay for my meal which was the festive choice . View all feedback.
The staff was super helpful and attentive. Eat was served in good time and really enjoyed it. would certainly visit again and recommend others.
The service was very slow. only one waiter served for 12 tables. I think all the customs were a little disappointed. we waited 40 minutes before our orders were taken. the people went next to us after waiting for a long time. a waiter no support.
Beautiful pub. the personal is great and the right amount of attention. the menu is a bit of choice, needs more vegetarian options and the prices are a little high in my opinion. the location is breathtaking, however, and the child menu is also good.
Beautiful place, beautiful pub and beautiful staff! eating is always unbelievable and you are always looking good! can not recommend this place enough!
Must enjoy evening nice food excellent service and staff must friendly would recommend
