We stopped in for an early dinner, correctly assuming the place would be packed later (on a Saturday evening). Our waiter didn 't let us know about the specials although he did know the 'fish of the day ' when asked. The rolls had just enough garlic and were served warm with real butter excellent. Never been so disappointed in my life as I was tonight. Our meals were all ice cold. When we finally received them, and my royal reds were bad so I couldn’t eat them. My friends steak was dry and over cooked literally the worst steak she’s ever had and that is all she eats so she knows a good steak. We will never return ever again to Mikey’s. Mikey is awesome and the food is always top notch! Absolutely one of the best places in Birmingham to eat but you wouldn’t know it from the name. Make sure you try the homemade Godiva cheesecake!

Four of us went to celebrate a birthday. We had crawfish chowder, macadamia crusted snapper, crawfish pasta, and a seafood Oscar. The garlic rolls were warm and tasty. The salads were fresh, crisp and delicious! Every dish we ordered was superb, and the wait staff was attentive. It was a bit pricier than I would like, but with that wonderful seafood and actual tablecloths on the tables, it could easily be my new fave!! I highly recommend Mikey’s!!
