The waitress was very kind and helpful when I asked for her recommendations on the lamb chops. When I arrived, there was only one takeaway customer in the restaurant, so it felt almost private. The waitress checked on me regularly without being intrusive. What John Alhelm doesn't like about Jambo Grill:
I made a reservation for 11:00 AM on Mother’s Day, but the restaurant was closed. It seems they didn’t open until 1:00 PM. There were other people also trying to enter, so we certainly weren’t the only ones affected by this. I won’t be returning after this experience. View all feedback.
This restaurant has new owners who are not familiar with OpenTable reservations. Additionally, OpenTable does not list their business hours.

Everything was nice, although the goat was a bit dry and the cabbage had a burnt flavor, as if they had tried to mask it. However, overall, it wasn't a terrible experience.
Different Cook this time. The bhai as as a little over cooked, but enjoyable, and someone put peppers in the jollof rice! On the flip side, the Kenyan Sampras and the Jamaican beef patties were phenomenal! I highly recommend the goat stew with spinach and rice on the side. Also, you will do yourself a disservice if you do not try the African Sunrise or the Hakuna Matata!
Nice cultural change of palate. Worth the adventure to try new things.
