I love this place. It?s close to where I live, always fresh, great service? only one concern THE FLOORS ARE WAY TOO SLIPPERY!! Sorry y?all but it really does concern me. I?ve seen 3 people slip and fall. And it?s just a bit too cramped in there. I go there to eat and to visit with friends. Fried green tomatoes are pretty good and I could have a plate with just sides. ? View all feedback.
What Laisha Ferry doesn't like about Dale's Southern Grill:
For the first time here. My husband had the liver and said that was good. I had the steak and that was less than good. Very thin?ribeye? and was cooked as desired for medium. I ate it only after adding A1 sauce and less than half of it. The fried green tomatoes were good. The baked potato was good. The squash, not so good. Bonus added: they serve beer. Will we be back? No. But if you like livers and onions, it's your... View all feedback.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND to try this southern style restaurant. They serve almost every traditional southern dish and desserts, they also have a butcher shop, take and bake meals, and whole desserts to go. One of the best southern restaurants I?ve had!
This place is a great find! I had an incredible experience! Food was great! 16 oz prime rib, 14 oz ribeye, 9 oz ribeye, shrimp and grits, and grilled cheese for the kiddos! Sides were okra, mushrooms and onions, real cornbread dressing! Squash casserole, bananas and strawberries, mac and cheese, and goldfish and grapes... I will definitely be back!
The food was delicious. We have been here several times and I usually get the shrimp and grits but decided to change up a little bit. The turkey and dressing was so good. The carrot soufflé was awesome. The place was nice and clean, we had a great server and the other customers were nice also. If you're looking for a nice place to eat try Dale's I highly recommend it. Oh did I mention they serve large portions of food? I am so full!!
While I ran some supplies in Birmingham, I was looking for a non-chain place to eat. Dale?s looked interesting online so we decided to give an attempt. It was a busy Sunday dinner and there was a waiting period. The hostess invited us to sit at the bar without waiting. Jason took care of customers at the bar while he answered the phone and prepared the orders. I'm not sure how long he worked there, but he killed it! There were several elements on the menu that I wanted to try, but decided for the chicken fried steak and was not disappointed. We look forward to returning to the Birmingham region.
