The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, with friendly staff and high-quality food, complemented by an intriguing and diverse wine list. It would have been nice to see a few more vegetarian or vegan options for my wife, but the selections she did make were excellent. View all feedback.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I had the celeriac soup and the braised beef, both of which were outstanding. After enjoying the excellent starters, my partner mentioned that the fish and chips could be improved. The service was very good overall, and we will definitely be returning for another visit.

Charming pub in a great location. We received a warm welcome upon our arrival and were escorted to our table. I opted for the vegetarian roast, specifically the nut loaf, which was a bit on the salty side for my taste, but still one of the better veggie roasts I've experienced in pubs and restaurants. My partner chose the roast beef and said it was delicious. For dessert, I tried the rhubarb crumble with vanilla ice cream, which resembled more of a tart. It was fantastic; the rhubarb had a nice tang without being overly sweet, just how I prefer it. The crumble itself had a lovely texture as well. My only minor complaint is that there could have been more rhubarb. We will definitely be returning, as I'm eager to try the fish and chips. Overall, I’d rate it 8/10.
