Quaint and charming little restaurant. We dined here this afternoon, and right from the start, our server (I believe her name was Mary) informed us that she was the only one working that day and that there might be a wait for our food. What a find! We were in the area for a long weekend and came here for brunch. With 5 in our family, we tried out 5 different dishes and all were incredible. Some highlights: MAC and CHEESE just order it, you won't regret Fried chicken dinner cooked perfectly and well seasoned, the gravy was particularly tasty French toast thick slices and real maple syrup We will be back to try more of the menu. While we were there they were seasoning a massive prime rib roast for dinner, I was bummed we couldn't try it!
OMG we loved this place. Super clean and very friendly staff. My hubs had the smoked corned beef and pastrami hash special. It was the best ever. I had the wild mushroom frittata with crisp hash browns that they actually got crisp. It was great. Daughter had Denver omelet with bacon and she loved it too. Don ' t miss this quaint little cafe. I bet lunch is just as good!
This place is a hidden gem. For anybody that is going hiking, or on the way to the park, you need to stop here and get an expertly grilled sandwich, or munch on a fresh salad with yummy house dressing. Their desserts looked amazing, and for the breakfast fans, they had a huge menu. They were kind to our dogs (and we had 3!! , brought us water outside for the beast, and were careful about social distancing and all guidelines. It was excellent! I can't wait to eat there again. I didn't stop eating long enough to take a picture. It was that yummy!
Stopped by after a hike, we were absolutely starving and would have eaten anything. We weren't expecting anything to write home about, but man we were blown away! From the friendly service, to the incredible food, to the relaxed atmosphere Will absolutely be back after our next hike. recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service and food in Hoodsport.
Loved this little place! There are not many food options in the area and these guys meet right on the money with what they offer! Friendly service and nice little place! The outdoor tents are warm and clean and look inviting! I'll be back soon. My fiancée and I stopped on our anniversary trip!
