If you are looking for a friendly, clean, winery with a beautiful yard setting.. This is the place to go. Our Corvette club was there last weekend and was personally welcomed by the owners and even their children came out to visit with us. Of course we had our pet chipmunk with us.. lol This is a great place to enjoy some great tasting wines. Our group all felt they did a great job in serving us and we all enjoyed so... What User doesn't like about Hood Crest Winery And Distillers:
This place was more formal than what we were looking for this time around. There was no personalized service,we didn't get to hear anything about the wines, winery or spirits. Spirit tastes were $5 which was a little steep. Cocktails were $12. They were good, but small for the price. They do have a lot of outdoor seating, are dog friendly and have some food including pizza. Nice place if you are looking for something... View all feedback.
My friend and I discovered this place by accident and are so glad we did. The distillery is full of character and James made us one of the best cocktails I?ve ever had! I?m not a whiskey drinker but his smokey maple Old Fashioned turned me around!
James was a knowledgable and super helpful bar tender. The old fashioned where amazing, like none other. Very nice setting and scenery had a great adult outing. Highly recommend
We got the meatball sub (so yummy and the best in town! . We also got the sausage and arugula pizza and it was perfect to split everything between three people. I recommend the Barbera to wash it all down! Live music all weekend with a view of the mountain. Folks here are the best, you won?t be disappointed!
The scenery was beautiful with views of Mt. Hood and a quaint patio that allowed friendly pups. The two wine flights we had were tasty although one of the reds had an extreme amount of sediment. The tasting prices were fair but we didn?t get any details about the wines beyond the paper menu. The mojito was tart, tasty, and impressively served on a gold platter. We were excited to try the wood fired pizza and ordered a Margherita $25), as well as a meatball sandwich $15)
