Popped in to try their coffee! I got their winter themed drink “over the mountain mocha” which was yummy! Yummy whip too. The staff was working very hard fast, shout out to them! What Shari doesn't like about Ground Espresso Cafe:
Not at all what I expected. Service was lackluster and food was at best mediocre. We ordered 2 coffee drinks and 2 sandwiches. Sandwiches came out first, they were cold and barely toasted, ingredients tasted frozen, not good at all. Our coffees were not ready until we were fully finished with our sandwiches. We got the Lemmon loaf, it wasn’t too sweet and was light and fluffy. My iced latte was yum!

My favorite coffee shop in Hood River due to the atmosphere and quality. Only complaint at all is the prices. The coffee prices are relatively normal for this area, but food prices are very high. However they do have a ton of options for alternative milks, lunch foods, and drinks. They even have boba in the summer which I'm excited to try!
Aaron and Grace are superstars! We love the coffee and the service! The cafe is very cozy.
Treats are excellent, coffe drinks inconsistent and the staff are visiting while people are waiting for sandwiches.
