Was Mi P at Leonard's a mag?

This place is a very good pastries that live up to the hype. Crispy on the outside and light fluffy on the inside. Definitely recommend getting a mix of the original and the puff fillings. Two per person is plenty to fill you up. Eating them hot and fresh makes it so much better! Line was wrapped around the building but moved fast. You can park near Safeway for more parking. What Jonathan Redaelly dislikes about Leonard's:

I came here upon local recommendations and the outside looks pretty retro. I was excited to order and opted for 3 malasadas (custard, chocolate, and mango). My order came in a little pink bag and the pastries were warm. I was very excited to try each flavor only to find out I was given 3 plain sugar ones. Yes they were okay, but not what we paid for or wanted. I’m disappointed and I know mistakes happen, but that’s k... View all feedback.

The malasadas are very soft, freshly made, many flavors, and delicious ???? My kids and I loved them. We went about 9am during the week and waited about 5min in line and another 5 to get our order. It was pretty quick. They have other breakfast bites andcoffee options. Leonard?s bakery worth the wait!

Wow these are tasty. Couldn't resist getting one of just about each available option for the whole family. So far, I have tried the guava filled and the macadamia cream and these are heavenly, especially when warm as they are given to you. We arrivedaround 3:30 on a Friday and we waited a total of about 30 minutes from the line to order until pickup. Well worth the waitthough. Gonna enjoy these the next few days if they last that long!

Definitely worth the hype! The line was long but it moved fast, overall around 10 mins waiting time, plus there is a visitors parking lot. We got all the flavors, they were all so great. The Malasadas are crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on theinside, and they have a chewy light texture that?s so good when it?s warm???? The custard cream, macadamia and guava fillingsare divine! Cinnamon sugar is excellent as well, please stop by!

This was beyond my expectations. I?m not a sweet tooth person so I usually don?t like donut. Everyone told us to try it so we gave it a try. Oh mine! The malasadas puffs were so tasty. I had to dust off the sugar coating on the outside so I can fullyenjoy the whole donut. We got the guava, coconut and custard fillings. They were so good and I had 2 of them in one sitting. Wecame early in the morning at 5:40 and there was no line. I can see it will get busy during the day for sure. It?s worth it evenif you have to wait. There is a parking lot right in front of the store too.

What can you say that hasn’t already been said about Leonard’s bakery? They do one thing, and they do it exceptionally well. Got a half a dozen Masaladas, and found almost all of them to be phenomenal. The seasonal mango and the guava one were exceptional. I didn’t love the chocolate or macadamia nut ones, but it think that’s more of a preference thing.Overall, this is a must try for anyone visiting Hawaii. The masaladas are made fresh, given to you hot, fairly priced, and are not greasy at all. Super unique Hawaiian dessert, that everyone should try while in town. And nobody does it better than this joint ???

This is a must taste donut shop in Oahu. No need to ask more questions, what malasadas might be, etc. Just go.Don't be daunted by the long line in the front. The line goes quick. The donuts are made fresh, and will come in a few mins in a paper box half a dozen each. Definitely try the basic to get a feel for the malasadas. And don't forget to gulp a few in front of the store while it is warm and hot. I also recommend the custard and the macadamia nut cream filled ones.As you bite into these angels on earth, you'll understand that the entire magic is with the dough. I don't know what pixie dust they sprinkle but it is absolutely heavenly.

First time trying malasadas and they did not disappoint! Leonard's is a really cute bakery that is also a perfect photo op. I got three different flavors cinnamon, original, and Li Hing. I really liked all three flavors they were all delicious! Not to mention the prices are so reasonable, each malasadas is about $1 and some change, so for all 3 I paid approximately $4 and some change! I really enjoyed trying out this place! I hope to stop by again soon!

The best Malasadas in town. They come in different flavors and optional filling... but the best must be the original unfilled. The dough is heated and the dough is so moist and fluffy. Tip: If you order, take a bite immediately! Texture is not so phenomenal at room temperature. (but still great! The Guava muffin I got was like that. Wouldn't get it next time.

Amazing, no words can describe this place. We went for the first time two days ago. Tonight only half a dozen to keep us happy by tomorrow! We just had a great dinner, but we stopped HAD here. We go back to get shirts and plush toys before we fly home next week. This is really our little jewel found on this trip to Oahu. Once costed in six years, but we will never come back to Oahu without visiting Leonard's bakery! We will spread the words as in our honest opinion, we simply cannot like it. We had the originals, the Cinamones, the Lee a little salty and salty, her big bread is only woven! We have made the best sandwich for the beach the next day with it.. just wow. We also tried all their stuffing options, Costard, Chocolate and Lilikoi was our personal favorite. Congratulations to an amazing team, keep the line pretty fast. Future customers will not be disoucrsge from the line outside, we waited outside and in about 10 minutes we had our first order. Mahalo, the Barbeau family from Canada .

On my honeymoon after breakfast this morning we walked over here after the Uber driver on the way to breakfast said it was a MUST! He definitely wasn't wrong. My husband is obsessed and I'm okay with that. Glad we don't have these in Dallas, TX or we'd both put on some serious pounds. Can't lie we made 2 trips here today.
