This place deserve a better rate and more reviews. Absolutely delicious ramen and great service. The broth was flavorful but not overpowering, the noodles had just the right firmness, and the pork in the tonkatsu ramen fell apart as I ate.The server helping us came by multiple times to make sure everything was right and refill water even though they were quite busy.Highly recommended. Fantastic experience! The garlic gyoza was absolutely delicious. Plus, it's just a short walk from the Art Museum. I wanted to buy a Junpuu shirt, but they only had XL available. Hopefully, they'll have more sizes next time. Thanks, Junpuu! Best, Roger and Rita.
The vegan ramen was very creamy unhappy it costs an extra $5 to it with vegan noodles (a little pricy, but delicious)
I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan veggie tantanmen and tomato ramen at this restaurant. Both dishes were very flavorful. I have a preference for spicy food, and I found the level of spiciness at 5/10 to be just right. This review was updated on December 4th, 2021.
This place may be small, but their ramen packs a powerful punch! Everything our party ordered was fantastic. I'm not usually a big fan of broth, but the broth here is absolutely incredible. The service is prompt and attentive. The staff worked together to ensure our dining experience was exceptional, and it truly was! If you’re in the area or searching for the best ramen in Honolulu, look no further than this restaurant!
Best ramen my wife and I have ever had. I had the spicy tonkatsu and added the black garlic oil and my wife had the black garlic ramen. Everything from the broth to the chashu was great. My wife asked if they have stickers but who I assume to be the owner said “No, but we have chopsticks!”

I may be exaggerating, but I have to say that this is the best vegetarian ramen I have ever tasted. If you love a flavorful broth, this place is a must-visit. The photos may not do it justice, as the ramen may look simple but it is anything but. The broth was rich without feeling too heavy, which was perfect for my hungry stomach. I wish I had tried this place sooner!
The server was very well-informed about the gluten-free options and inquired about whether it was due to allergies or personal preference. Only the veggie ramens and the shoyu ramen broth are gluten-free. However, the egg and char siu in the shoyu ramen are not gluten-free. You can also customize the level of spice in your ramen; I opted for a 4 out of 10 spice level which was perfect for me. It provided a nice burn without overpowering the taste of the food. The gluten-free noodles were the best I've ever had, with a chewiness that rivaled regular noodles. I highly recommend this restaurant for those with dietary restrictions looking for delicious gluten-free options and attentive staff.
The ramen at this restaurant is fantastic with prompt service, but I was disappointed that there were no eggs in it. I tried the unique tomato ramen, which I had never experienced before, while my husband got the garlic tonkatsu. I would definitely return if I happen to be in the area.
Best Ramen on island! Come hungry, get a large, add an egg, and enjoy. Street parking right in front is free on weekends and holidays.Food: 5/5
We loved this place!! The food, service, and atmosphere were all incredible. It was a very cute, dog-friendly spot where the staff were extremely kind and accommodating to any requests and questions. They have options for all diet types (vegetarians, pescatarians, etc. and the food came out very quickly! The broth was flavorful and the cooks were able to add in any extra add-ons that we requested. The ambiance was beautiful and they had both indoor and outdoor seating options. I would definitely recommend going here for delicious ramen in the Honolulu/Waikiki area!

Delicious ramen and great customer service. We ordered ramen and gyoza. I got miso ramen with added toppings. The egg is the best part of the dish for me followed by the men/noodles. I loved their noodles being al dente and not mushy. Everything wascooked and seasoned to perfection. Parking available in back of the building.
Ordered the garlic tonkatsu ramen. Good place portion is good, broth is flavorful, service is great. Like most of the other restaurants in the area, food is on the expensive side. Overall a good experience!
Great ramen! The garlic gyoza was so good. And it?s short walk from the art museum too. I wanted to buy a Junpuu shirt but they only had XL ????Next time. Thank you Junpuu Best Roger and Rita
This place might be small but their ramen packs a big punch! Everything our party ordered was fantastic. I?m usually not a fan of much broth but the broth here is next level amazing. Along with that, the service is fast and great. They all worked togetherto ensure our dining experience was great, and it was! So if you work in the area or are looking for the best ramen in Honolulu, look no further than this place to eat!
I recently visited Junpuu in Tokyo and tried their garlic tonkotsu ramen priced at 16.50, along with garlic gyoza and a chashu quesadilla. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The ramen was decent but didn’t quite justify the price—if you try it, consider adding an egg for 14.50 instead. The gyoza was okay, though the soy sauce was quite salty, so be careful when dipping. The highlight was definitely the quesadilla, which had great flavor and a satisfying crunch. Overall, Junpuu may not be my top pick for ramen, but it’s a solid option if you’re in the mood for some.

I highly recommend the vegan veggie tantanmen and tomato ramen at this restaurant. Both dishes were very delicious and perfect for a spice lover like myself, with a rating of 5/10. This review has been updated from my previous one on 2021-12-04.
The vegan ramen was deliciously creamy, but unfortunately, it costs an additional $5 to have it with vegan noodles (a bit expensive, but worth it).
