Blane's Drive Inn - Honoka'a

Wowzer! This was good food! Had the Korean Katsu and Fried Mahi plates. Delicious! Then for dessert some cookies cream ice cream and a strawberry slush float! Great food, service and value!

Nice place for what it is a drive in in outer Hawaii. Had the garden burger and it was good.

Charming place insofar as a walk up diner/drive-in place goes. Many many food options and pricing was very reasonable. All of us liked everything we had (except the macaroni salad, katsu sauce brought it to life haha) Area we were in had a bit of water problems so there was a huge puddle near us, that kind of brought the atmosphere down a bit. Back to food. THey offer combo options so if you can't decide you can have multiples, i had katsu and hamburg steak and they were both good, flavourful. My friend had the curry stew and it was like a light stew japanese curry, it smelled awesome and he ate it all up. My wife and daughter had hamburg steak with gravy (basically loco moco) and they cleaned up the plate as well. Outside of the exterior seating the place was worth the visit, it brought a smile to our faces.

It's great for Loco Moco type of cuisine, which is rice with an egg and a main dish of your choice. They're not quite clear on this I ordered their Teriyaki Burger expecting a bun, but got just a patty it still was a cheap and tasty lunch.

My boyfriend and I eat here all the time *partially because we live on a farm closeish* I'm a vegetarian and the garden burger is amazing, my boyfriend gets the teri burger and says it's good also. Its decently priced and other than a slight wait it's good.
