I had stayed in Honnavar for 3 days and have tried 4 other restaurants for tiffin items, this is the best option out of them. First of all the price is low and everything was good to taste. From what I saw, many locals were the people eating here and taking parcel since this is located a bit inside, so tourists may miss it completely. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
In the sleepy bylanes of Honnavara town this cozy place with a different decor is one of the most authentic place in Honnavara for South Indian breakfast. We upfront told the owner that we are first timers here and you should suggest something apart from Idli. He gladly placed order with the attendant for us. Apart from dosa and crispy medu wada we had buns. Authentic Mangalore buns. Fluffy inside and crispy from outside, coupled with some sabzi which was flavors riot. A very cooperative gladfully told us that he spent some time in Pune and we discussed his Pune connection.
Small eatery shop. Really good taste. Buns, batata bonda, Avalakki,Dahi wada. Its in a small street, car parking not availble. Can park near market or ksrtc bustand and walk for 5mins. Buns, batata wada was really good. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
