BAR A HUITRES ENTRE ET MER - Honfleur

Good service, great fresh oysters and crevettes (king prawns) and lovely home made bread. A glass of Leffe watching the world go by plus superb food. The fruits de mer for 2 on the next table looked good value as well.

We chose this place because it was recommended to dine somewhere other than the touristic restaurants in the harbor. It was nice but the waiter was a bit rude. He hesitated to seat us (two) even though the place was empty (and didn't get full the whole evening), but Iwas ok with that. Oysters were excellent, extremely fresh and the lobster was cooked to perfection. I'm glad we dined here.

We only had some oysters here so I can't say much about the chef's cooking but the oysters and the service were excellent!

Opening breakfast does not look like a great idea! we didn't want to come here either. only the formula is offered and a simple coffee or a pain-au chocolate are a problem not available! better to go to another place.

The fish of the day was bland, the « risotto » was only rice in a « lobsterflavoured » sauce. bland as well. the portions very small. I doubt the fish was fresh. the dessert was terrible, Sorbet season. it tasted very bitter and almost a chemical...taste... avoid this place
